From 1 August, Cantieri Sultano becomes a Bar.
From 1 August, Cantieri Sultano bar opens, by reservation only, in the lounge/laboratory of Ciccio Sultano in Ibla.
A cocktail is prepared by following a recipe and a good recipe, solid or liquid, stands out for its technique, ingredients and innovation. Led by Mattia Cilia, an eclectic bartender born in Vittoria and with seventeen years of experience including places such as Milk & Honey in London and B.O.A.T.S. in Ortigia, the Secret Bar of CantieriSultano will offer a menu featuring classic cocktails where an extra leading ingredient, like olive or honey, will be added.
These leading ingredients are chosen among the most characteristic of the island of Sicily, whose story is told in the first Cantieri Sultano book: Sicilian Dominations, twelve recipes between the past and the future.
Thus it begins a new journey where Sicily is at the centre of the world.
