The second book of Cantieri Sultano is now available on www.cicciosultanoshop.it This latest volume is titled Vademecum, and it’s an account of the choices, responsibilities and pit-falls involved in the process of opening a restaurant.
It’s a thoughtful text, presenting concrete situations, providing a point of view which is the result of personal experience. Vademecum will be a useful guide for those who would like to open a restaurant and it will dispel some doubts for those who have already taken this step. From the very beginning, Vademecum presents two issues, often overlooked or misunderstood: the need for a business plan and the error in prioritising the aesthetics of a restaurant above everything else.
