The cellar in the new menu

This year, there will be new offers for wine tastings at Ciccio Sultano Restaurant. During these weeks, before we will reopen on Monday 2nd March, for dinner, we are selecting twenty-five labels, big and very big ones, by the glass thanks to the Coravin system. The tasting by the glass, variable depending on the number of mains chosen, will cost 220 euros and it will accompany the client from the aperitif until the spirit, in a blinded path, baptised not by chance “Trust Me”. Trust Me is placed side by side to the other tastings a la carte: Barefoot on the Volcano; Sicily-Burgundy A/R; Riserve del Sultano. Antonio Currò, sommelier of the restaurant, is also exploring the possibility of presenting all the possible varieties of the same vine. A journey that shows different ways of making wine: classic, bio, orange, spumante and oxidation.
In 2020, Sultano cellar, divided into 60% from Sicily and 40% from Italy and the rest of the world, will count on more Champagne and Burgundy. Today, among other things, in Capitano Bocchieri street, in Ibla, the most important collection of Etna wines is available, with one hundred reds and around sixty whites.
