Laboratorio Sicilia: the supremacy of Ciccio Sultano at the Duomo of Ragusa

Which elevates Sicily to an international laboratory, as a pragmatic and successful example? Yes, it is called the Sultano project, three spaces, the Restaurant, I Banchi, Cantieri: 610 square meters on offer as well as Pastamara in Vienna and the catering at a resort in Noto, currently under construction. A concentration of strength and ideas that makes the difference, which creates Sultano’s style.
As Meldolesi points out, the focus on local cuisine enhances the goodness of the product and overlooks the fact that the setting is, from time to time, «… Marquis or Redzepiana, bulliana or Japanese, extrinsic with respect to places …».
With Ciccio Sultano, it does not happen, because form and matter are his and a Sicily that dialogues with the world.
