Sicily and Burgundy, same charm
The Ciccio Sultano cellar, curated by Antonio Currò, awarded by Wine Spectator in 2018, with its 1,200 labels and 11,000 bottles, looks for a journey south to north and back again, with six Sicilian and Burgundian wines. A tasting that showcases Sicilian oenology can be on a par with the legendary French wine.
A tasting of four whites and two reds, combined with exquisite dishes from the house, costs 120 euros.
The service includes the following pairs of bottles: Jalé 2017, chardonnay from Cusumano together with Chablis 2017, always chardonnay, by Jabot; Vigna San Francesco 2016, Tasca d’Almerita Chardonnay with Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes 2016, Pierre Labet Chardonnay; Côtes de Nuit 2016 pinot noir by Roumier and Barbagalli 2015, nerello mascalese di Pietradolce.
