Spring in Ibla
In the past few days, the air has changed its scent. It tastes like spring and Ibla is more beautiful than ever. Among the many locations to stay, we’d like to recommend a new hotel, a stone’s throw away from the restaurant.
A new hotel, that feels much more than the four stars it declares. A homely space, housed in an ancient building, with an exclusive ambience, service and view over Ibla’s iconic square: piazza Duomo.
a.d. 1768 (the name is related to the date of construction) has ten rooms and suites, elegant and unconventional, unique in their style concept. This is the result of a joint project between the proprietors and Vemworks studio who gave great respect to the original building. Each room bears the name of and is a tribute to their many loved ones, represented through the objects, the design of the furniture and, above all, the symbolic paintings of Max Ferrigno. The sweet and savory breakfast is, of course, Sicilian.
